I was such a tomboy in grade school. The boys loved it. Dodgeball was my game of choice. I was good at it!
Who was your best (or worst) elementary school teacher?

My 6th grade teacher, Mr. Kenneth Salem. He was the coolest, smartest, strongest, most curious guy. He passed away a few years after I had him as a teacher. A very sad time. To this day, I still want to be an astronaut because of him. I miss you, Mr. Salem!

What was the one toy you wanted as a kid that your parents never bought you?

A go-cart. And my sister and I asked for one for about 5 full years, each year at x-mas, birthdays, whatever. Another one from when I was really little was a full play kitchen set for my bedroom. Sigh...never did get that easy bake oven either.

He didn't really teach me, he just took the training wheels off and pushed me down the hilly grass. I fell, but got right back on, he'd have it no other way!
